Bullet Bunny opens up a colorful and chaotic shooting world, where you play as a brave rabbit rushing straight into a maze full of enemies. The interesting thing here is that you can move and aim independently, dodge bullets flexibly, and counterattack in all directions. Each turn is a new experience with a series of random upgrades, constantly changing enemies, and unpredictable situations. All blend into a breathtaking chase that makes it hard for you to take your eyes off.
Playing as a warrior bunny in Bullet Bunny, you charge into a monster-filled dungeon full of bullets flying everywhere. The twin-stick control mechanism—two different navigation keys—one hand moves, one hand aims—is the unique aspect of the game. This style of play allows you to dodge bullets skillfully and counterattack accurately, creating dramatic confrontations every second.
Each level is a random challenge, from enemy types, terrain, to the perks (special skills) you receive when leveling up. You may be lucky enough to own armor-piercing bullets, bullet acceleration, or even the ability to shoot in multiple directions at the same time. This randomness makes each playthrough feel new and never boring.
Like classic roguelike games (Hades, Dead Cells), Bullet Bunny has two levels of progression:
Balancing speed, strategy, and luck, Bullet Bunny creates an extremely addictive "play - lose - upgrade - try again" loop. You will keep telling yourself: "Just one more turn, I will go further!"
Few people know that Bullet Bunny is a product of Penusbmic - a single indie developer with a passion for classic pixel games. The game was initially released for free on Itch.io and quickly received enthusiastic support from the community. Thanks to positive feedback, Bullet Bunny was officially available on Steam in March 2024. Possessing a high-speed twin-stick shooter gameplay combined with roguelike elements, this game quickly scored points thanks to its simplicity, easy to get used to, but extremely attractive.
